HUNDRED KILLED AND 79 INJURED IN PARIS RAID

SIXTY-SIX TRAMPLED TO DEATH IN SUBWAY PANIC. PARIS, March 13. A panic at the entrance to a raid shelter on the underground railway during last night's raid resulted in 66 people being suffocated or trampled to death. The other casualties now total 34 killed and 79 injured, includign six killed and seven injured at a hospital.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.) A German official -wireless report states: —We copiously and successfully bombed Paris last night in retaliation for enemy attacks on March 0 and 10 on Stuttgart, Esslingen, Intertuerkheim, and Mainz. The Press Bureau announces:—The air raid on March 7 killed nine men, eight ■women, and three children, and injured 43 people.— (A. and N.Z. and Reuter.)
