INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. At Martakau late on Tuesday night ■fire was discovered burning behind the Methodist Church, which defied all efforts made to ertinguieh it. It wae then decide to burst open the front doore, and save the organ; but it was foTind impossible to eavo anything to the rapid spread of the flames, which speedily demolished everything. The church is insured, but the loss to the trustees will be heavy. Incendiarism is suspected. Fortunately there was an absence of wind, otihcTwise the Mamikau cheese factory would almost certainly have been destroyed.
