WEST COAST ROAD.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —As one out of many visitors to the West Coast, I consider it is my as a ratepayer of the city, to call attention to the condition of the road. The East Coast is well known to all and easy of access. Too much cannot be made of ■ the West Coast, with a vast expanse of . open sea, and should be made available to all citizens in the interest of health, »nd particularly those returning from ' the war. A reasonable contribution should be made by the city to the maintenance of the road running through the ' City Council's water reserve. Our • greatest asset is health, and the City i should help in this direction by making • the advantages of the coast easy of access.—rl am, etc., RATEPAYER.
