HAMILTON MAN'S BEQUESTS. COURT INCREASES AMOUNTS. . (By Telegraph—Press Association.) • WELLINGTON, Saturday. The Chief Justice to-day gave judgment regarding the will of the late Andrew Casey, of Hamilton, who left tiie residue of his estate o£ £25,665 to the Catholic Church. His Honor said that under the will the Church stood to benefit to the extent .of £15,397. He commented on the fact that none of the children were physically strong. Some, even with the legacy left, under the will, would he unable to maintain themselves. Hie Honor wae of opinion that certain fixed gifts to the Church. at Hamilton should stand, and that the increase to the widow should come out of the residue, and. further, he thought each of thp ten children should receive £800 in addition to the sums allowed under the will of £200 or £300, and that £800 accumulated interest should be divided among the claimants. An order was made that the total costs should come out of the estate.
