NEW N.S.W. GOVERNOR.

DISPUTE IN ASSEMBLY. A MEMBER REMOVED. SYDNEY, February 22. A scene occurred in the Legislative Assembly when discussing the usual motion congratulating the new State Govrnor on his appointment. Several members of the Opposition, while offering Sir Walter Davidson personal congratulations, disobej'ed the Speaker's rulings and condemned the retention of State Governors and the expense attaching to the system. One member was eventually removed. The motion was carried by 38 votes to 11.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
