SUCCESSFUL TEAR'S WORK. The fortieth annual meeting of. the Auckland Worfcingmcn's Club and Mechanics' Institute was held Wednesday. Mr. C. D. Grey, president, presided. The balance-sheet showed gross assets totalling £in,BSS 10/11, with liabilities (including loan), totalling £6230 13/10, the balance to credit of capital account and profit and loss account being S),GST 17/1.
