FAT STOCK SALES. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their weekly sale of fat stock at WeatneM on Wednesday, us under. Beef. —A good yarding, which sold at about the same as lust week's rates. Eitr». prime ox sold at up to £2 12/ per 3,0010; ordinary quality Z2. 2/ to £2 0/; cow a?* heifer beet made 40/ to i-/. Veal. —A moderate yarding, and price' were on a par with late rates. Extralieary ruuuers made up to £S;. heavy suckers U to £«; small, 15/ to 30/; others, 8/ to '21/Mutiou.—A fair yarding, and prices were equal to late rates. Kxtra heavy prim" wethers sold at up to £1 17/, mediumweight 2S/ to 32/6; ewes, 28/, light and uieuiuui quality to 22/. Lamb.—A fair yarding, and prices were higher than last week, l-'at Jambs made « to £1 8/. Pork.—A moderate yarding, which sold ttt easier rates, ("hoppers made up- to £5 to £G; bacouers, £4 10/ to £6 10/; to £3 10/. WHANGAUEI STOCK SALES. Messrs. P. and \V. Wakelin held their usual annual sheep fair at Kuino saleyards on Weduesdny, February 20, and, notwltß - . standins the threatening stale of tn e weather, 67153 sheep of ail classes were" penned, and all, with the exception of SOU aged ewes, changed hands at satisfactory prices.
