CHRISTGHURCH, this day.. ; A deputation from the Second Division League interviewed Mr. Massey, asking for a guarantee that any men sent to camp should be medically fit. It was pointed out that it would beca great hardship for a reservist to dispose of his , business, perhaps, and when her got to camp be turned down as unfit. Mr. Massey said that he could say at once that he would be very glad to lay the request before Cabinet. It wai the desire of the Government that every possible care should be taken to avoid hardships to reservists, and such care had been, and would be, taken. •
