AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE.
A feature of the Stock Exchange today was the predominance of buyers over sellers. While 30 stocks were inquired for, only half that number ihad quoted s'Qllere. New Zealand Insurance shares cold this morning at 162/6, and there were further buyers at 160/, but no sellers quoted. National Bank shares were wanted at 103/6, but sellers asked 106/. There were again, buyers of Maxwell, Ltd., shares to-day at 29/.
