QUARREL ON A STEAMER.
SEAMAN THRICE STABBED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)' CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. In an affray on a vessel at Lyttelton a seaman named Alfe Holden, was seriously wounded in the face and stomach with a knife. Another member of the crew, John Christopher Kistofferson, was arrested in connection with the matter, and remanded. Holden, who is in the Christchurch hospital, is in a serious condition.
