RIPA ISLAND CAMP.

A NIGHT AND DAY GUARD. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. Captain V. C. Leeming, M.C., a Main Body man, has been appointed to the command of the internment camp at Ripa Island, where Count yon Luckner and Lieutenant Kirseheiss are to be confined. The measures taken for the guarding of the prisoners include the erection of a stockade and the establishment on the island of an armed guard of sufficient strength to enable the prisoners to be guarded night and day.
