POLICE PROMOTIONS.
SERGEANT WOHLMANN BECOMES SUB-INSPECTOR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Sub-Inspector Broberg has been transferred to Wellington, and has been replaced by Senior Sergeant Wohlmann, of Christchurch, promoted to the rank of sub-inspector. Sergeant Lanigan, of Auckland, is promoted senior sergeant to fill the vacancy at Newton. Constables Sweeney and Morton have been promoted to the rank of sergeant and transferred to Auckland. \
