ENTERTAINING THE SOLDIERS
LONDON, January 11. The High Commissioner for New Zealand (Sir Thomas Mackenzie) states that since the establishment of tbe New Zealand Soldiers' Club every leave train has been met on its arrival in London. Nearly 30,000 men have been accommodated" There has been only one arrest. New Zealand women have worked unsparingly for the benefit of the troops to preserve a home atmosphere in the institution. — ("Times")
