NEW ZEALAND'S DENTAL CORPS.
TRIBUTE TO ITS WORK.
(By Telegraph.—Special to "Star."),." WELLINGTON, this day. Reference to the work done hy the New Zealand Dental Corps was made by the Minister for Defence (Sir Jas. Allen") to-day. All the work done in that connection, he said, had been excellent, and he was very grateful to the New Zealand Dental Association, and dentists generally, for the assistance they had rendered. He was very proud of what had been achieved. Our deutal organisation in New Zealand was very good indeed, and the same could be said of it in Egypt, France, and England. Colonel Hunter had been to England and had done good work there. Lately the system had been put into operation of bringing back dentists from the front and replacing them by men who had not been there, thus giving the Dominion the advantage of war experienced men. anj at the same time giving others a chance of obtaining similar experience.
Sir Ja's. elated that the same policy is being adopted in regard to medical officers. It is considered that medical men who -Inive had experience of sick and wounded at the front will be : of great value in treating returned soldiers in New Zealand, besides obtaining a very welcome change, and the medical men who replace thorn at the front will acquire most valuable experience.
