THE WATCH ON ALIENS.
LONDON, December 18. Speaking in reply to the motion urging a more definite policy regarding alien enemies, Sir George Cave (Secretary of State for Home Affairs) agreed that the Government needed new powers to.review naturalisation certificates. Naturalisation was an Imperial matter. The Government submitted proposals to the Dominion Governments at the request of : the Imperial Conference.
