Reserved judgment was delivered by Mr. McCarthy, S.M., to-day in respect to the cases against the proprietors of the establishment* known as the Marble Bar, who were charged with Sunday trading. The magistrate said the majority of Sunday customers were residents of Wellington, and the chops could not lawfully be 'kept open to. satisfy the -whims and ca-prices of thoso who could supply themselves. _ fine ol i _1 was imposed in each caso.
