After opening the Xgatea Bridge Jlr. Maeeey went on to Thames, and had a ratliei- unpleasant experience. The sea was rough, and the spray which came , over the side of the launch showed that the Gulf -waters, when in playful mood, are no respecters of persons. Mr. Massey was drenched, and had to effect a change of clothing ac coon as he reached Thames.
