A garden fete and sale of work was held this afternoon in the grounds of " Lochaber,' the residence of Mr. Alison, Takapuna. There were various stalls, which all did good business, and selections by the band of the Auckland Mounted Rifles, the Auckland Pipe Band and the. Highland Pipe Band-*eontributed to the pleasure of the afternoon. The fete was arranged by the Takapiina Mine-sweepers' League, which should augment the funds for the brave men in the North Sea in a pleasing mannerMargie Mushed, "The. little brat. !I don't know what to term her!' * But Phyllis quickly settled that "You do use CWEMODERMAI" ._ _.
