(Before Mr. F. V. Frazer. S.M.). DRtJiniENNESS. William Walker (34), for getting drunk when he was prohibited, this being his third recent offence, was fined 40/, in default seven days'. Thomas H. Williams (5"), for committing a nuisance in the street w>en he waa slightly under the influence of liquor, was fined £2 and 2/6 costs, in default seven days', MISCEIXANEOirs. Charles N. AUprees, for leaving a motor-car on "Wairiki Road without lights, wae fined 5/ and 21 costs. P." A. Smith, for plying for hire with a launch without having the launch licensed, had to pay 28/ costs. - Edward Hopkinson, for failing to obey a maintenance order respecting four children, was sentenced to three months' imprisonment, the , warrant to be suspended so long. as he complies iwitK the order of 30/ a week, and pays 10/ a week off the arrears.
