GERMAN STORY OF THE ADVANCE.
RUSSIANS SEEK TO ESCAPE TO MOON ISLAND. (Received 1.15 p.m.) LONDON, October 15. A German official message cays:— We made rapid progress in Ocsel Island, repeatedly overcoming the enemy We cut off the Sworbe peninsula from the north. Our ships silenced the land batteries. We arc advancing towards the east coast, and the Russians are retreating in order to escape over the mole connecting Oesel Island with Moon Island—(A. and N.Z. and Reuter.)
