i (Received 1.50 p.m.) PARIS, October 15. I Lieutenant Fonck (comrade ot Lieu- ! Guynemer, who was killed after he had j brought down over 50 enemy 'planes, ! avenged tho hitter's death on September 1 30. when he shot down Wissman, the German who downed Guynemer. Fonck escaped the Germans' first rush by clever j manoeuvring, got behind them, and shot I Wissman in the head. Tlie latter fell. and his observer was also killed.
