CONCILIATION COUNCIL.

■ PRIVATE HOTELS, After spending considerable time over the dispute in respect to private hotels, the Conciliation Council arrived at a . partial settlement. The question of wages was left to the Arbitration Court to decide. The following are the dates of future meetings of the Council: —Iron and brass moulders, to-morrow; trawlers, on the lflth October; Boilermakers, 23rd; plasterers, 20th; and engineers, 29th. Oa . November 5 Mr. T. Earle Giles, Conciliation Commissioner, proposes to take the tailor and tailoresses dispute at New Plymouth.
