ffo the Editor.^ Sir. —As an important bill is now before the House, a report from the Leafier of tin 1 Opposition in the Victorian Assembly (Mr. Elmslie) in reference to venereal disease at the Y.D. camp in Victoria is very important. The niOulical officers told Mr. Elmslie that about 4000 women ivere suilerilKJ from venereal disease in Melbourne. One house in l'itzroy was responsible for 37 soldiers' illness. Two houses in Carlton had spread disease to 7-3 soldiers. In another street
