FOURTEEN LARGE VESSELS. LOXDOX, October 11. A British Admiralty report on the eubmarinc campaign during the week ended October 7 gives the following figures, those in last week's report being given in parentheses:— Arrivals 2.153 f2.SKO) Sailings 2.632 (2,742> Sunk over 1600 tons.. 14 ill) Sunk under l<3oo tons.. 2 (2) „ nnsuecessfoily attacked 3 (16) Fishing vessels sunk. 0 (0) (A. and X.Z. and Keuter.) The following table shows the total losses for the 33 weeks since the regular report was first issued:—
THE FRENCH LOSSES. (Received 1.20 p.m.) PARIS. October 11. The following is a statement of French shipping activity and losses caused by submarines during the week ended September 30 the figures for the previous week being shown in parentheses:— Arrivals 903 i995> Departures Sll (1,010) Sunk over 1600 tons... 8 en Sunk under 1600 tons 2 ( .->i Unsuccessfully attacked R — (A. and X.Z. Cable.) ITAIJAN FIGURES. (Received 9.40 a.m.) ROME, October 11. During the week ended October 7 the arrivals at Italian ports numbered 503, and the departures 467. Two vessels above, and two below, 1,500 tons were sunk. One sailing vessel was unsuccessfully attacked.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
