-AMAGE AT SAMOA AND TONGA. KI'VA, July 10. There has been an earthquake and tidal wave in the Samoan Group, the severest on record. The Tongan Group also ex-perienced the earthquake. At H.iapai there were three naves 14ft high, but no material damage was done. Keppel Island suffered the worst. Many native houses were destroyed, and a concrete wharf was earned away.
