Another instance of the fighting spirit is given by the departure to camp, after' final leave, of Private Walter Dryland, a member of the Twenty-eighth Reinforcements, who is the last of a family to enlist. The Dryland family is composed entirely of boys, while their i parents died some years ag-o. Ernest G.I Dryland, the first 'to enlist, went away ! with the fifth draft, and was wounded at Gallipoli. He is now in France.
