BRUSSILOFFS ARMY.

MARKED IMPROVEMENT NOTED LONDON, June 20. Mr. Wilton, the "Times' " correspondent at Petrograd, has been visiting the Russian headquarters. He notes a marked improvement during the last six weeks. Although the whole army has not yet recovered its former moral, many divisions are in excellent fighting form, and fully conscious of their duty to their country. They will loyally respond whenever summoned to advance. Desertions have practically ceased, and the. officers are more hopeful. The High Command is only too anxious to stand loyally by the Allies and do whatever possible to co-operate with the British and French Armies. General Brussiloil's personality, eloquent of past successes. has worked miracles in restoring the troops' moral.
