FIRE AT PAEROA.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, this day. A six-roomed house at Paeroa situated on the old Te Aroha Road was completely destroyed by fire yesterday. The house was owned by Mr. M. J. Ashwin, and was insured in the Royal Insurance Company. The furniture and effects, also destroyed, were the property of Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, and were insured in the National for £225. The origin oi the lire is unknown.
