|crnioi-s claim Fin: a mays isudv | j Two "widows" were present at the inquest at lsk. on Thomas lilewitt. a Newport man. who had I tl missing since Decen r 14 last, and whose body was recovered from the river lsk the other day. Sarah Ann Hlewitt. of Cinderford. who de scribed herself as the "lawful wife of the deceased." said her husband left her with six children -8 years ago. The second "widow." who gave the name of Elizabeth Hlewitt. went through a form of marriage with deceased in IDOL When he left home on December 14 she said he seemed quite happy, and she did not think he could have committed suicide. Further evidence showed that Blewltt left for Caerleon win, his pony and cart to deliver goods, but the next day tin- pony and cart were found in a Held, the pony dead from exposure. A veiilicl of "Found drowned" was returned. I
