It i.s freely stated that in Taranaki farming laud is rapidly passing into the hands of foreigners. A land salesman informs the Kltham paper that the position is getting serious, lie says that our own countrymen are going away to light, and whet, they come back, if they ever do, they will lind their properties have passed into the hands of foreigners. From what our friend tells us, it would appear that peaceful penetration is getting in its handiwork in Taranaki. Ladies who do their own housework find their hands get rough and grimy.
