MURRAY STILE RISING. "(Received 11.30 a.m). MELBOURNE, this day. The Murrikj River, which has been in flood for five days, is rising, and miles of country are inundated on the New South Wales side. The levees protecting Toc-im-wal have broken in two places, threatening the town. Reports from Numurkah indicate that the greatest flood in history is causing down the Broken River. All railway services beyond Shepperton are suspended. Further heavy rains have fallen throughout the State.— (A. and N.Z.)
