Willoughby to Auckland as the annual deputation of the London Missionary Society is arousing a large amount of interest. Mr. Willougbby's work in South Africa, at Tiger Kloof and Molepolole, has been largely of an educational character, and has proved most successful. His lecture in the Beresford Street Congregational Church, on Wednesday evening, at 7.45, will be presided over iby Mr. A. 3. Entrican (Deputy-Mayor), and should be largely attended. Mr. W. A. Veitch, M.P. for Wanganui, is to address a public meeting at the Chamber of Commerce to-morrow evening upon "The Relation Between Capital and 'Labour, and How They May bo Improved." Mr. S. J. Harbutt, president of the Industrial Association, will occupy the chair.
