AVONDALE.—As there is apparently no chance of what you complain of being altered, it would be waste of space to print your letter. REJECT.—O2 men are not rejects, but are men accepted for home service. Actually they are soldiers on indefinite leave, and may be called up by the Government at any time to perform duties within the Dominion connected with the war. Up to the present no C 2 men have been compulsoriry called up for service at home, and it iB not the present intention of the Government to conscript them. Any C 2 man may voluntarily offer his services to tho military authorities, and on doing this he may be sent to camp when a suitable opening occurs.
