RECRUITING
FIVE ACCEPTED. Nine volunteers presented themselves for examination at the City Recruiting Station yesterday. Of that number, five were accepted for active service, their names, occupations and addresses being as follows: — P. Collins, jockey, Chelsea. Y\. G. Howard, linesman, Kohimarama. R. 11. Kempton, journalist, Grafton Koad. F. H. Grange, fellmonger, Penrose. H. V. Smith, baker, Birkenhead.
