TRANSFER OF GIFTS.
m (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WKLUNGTON, this day. Some time ago a sum of £100 was sent from Now Zealand for the purchase of comforts, such as tinned fruit and vegetables, for men on H.M.s. Philomel. Before the goods arriveil the ship changed ber quarters, and it was deemed advisable to distribute them amongst men of other ships of the squadron, especially a ship which had been associated with New Zealand.
