The annual meeting of the Auckland Baud of Hope Union was held in Wesley Hall last evening. Mr. C. G. Hill president, in the chair. The report and balancesheet were read, and each presented very pleasing features, such as the successful gatherings in the Town Hall last June, the engagement of a travelling agent, the importation and printing of literature, Mothers' Day celebration, and future methods of work. The receipts amounted to £813 and the expenditure to £721. The following officers were reelected:—President, Mr. C. G. Hill; treasurer. Mr. G. Plummer; secretary, Mr. W. J. Macdermott. A list of vicepresidents were nrooosed, subject to their approval.
