A sub-committee appointed by the Town Board to review library matters diwussoil 11 [nuabcr of proposals to improve the status of the library and to try and increase the number of subscribers. The proposals to be submitted to the Town Board. At a very- largely attended social held In Kk-liardson's Han ulne soldiers who were home on Uual leave were farewelled, and presented with safety razors and shaving companions by the Key. Wood (chairman of the Send-off I'ouimittee). The following were the guests of honour: - Privates K. Bates. W. Brown. A. Burgees, T. Campbell, B. Hnnt, C. HHI. li. Wilson, iKob. Yates, and Corporal J. A. Tatton. 'Hie Key. W. S. Potter, wlio has ministered in the Methodist Church for the past tw<o years, preached his farewell sermons here on Snnday last. A few dnys previously Mr and Mrs Potter were enteri taned at a farewell social 'by their I parishioners. Mr Potter leaves immediately to take up Ills duties dv his uew charge at Walnku.
