PAPAKURA NEWS.
At their last meeting the Papakura Town Board appointed Mr H. W. Geissler (clerkl inspector of buildings, and the surfaceman as sanitary inspector aud inspector of nuisances. It also decided to instal a telephone in the Board oflice for the convenience of the pnblic. Rather a heated discussion took place over Mr Campbell's motion that the Works and Finance Committee be abolished, as the committee had been a failure from a practical point of view. As there was no seconder the motion lapsed.
