Public Notice is hereby given that at Special Meeting of the Devonport Boroug Council, held on TUESDAY, the 13th da of February, 1917, the resolution hereaft. set forth was passed. To amend Clauses 285 and 286 of sal By-law No. 1-by substituting the figure 7500 In' lieu of the figures 12,500 wherev. such figures appear in the said clause: being the maximum quantity of watt which may be consumed as ordlnar supply. To amend Clause 286 so as to extend tb meaning of "Extraordinary Supply," an to repeal Clauses 278, 289, 291. 292, an 294 of said By-law No. 1, and In lieu therec to provide that the charges for. ordinar supply to lands and buildings shall be a toUows:— (a) Where tbe supply is measured b meter, a uniform minimum rate c 7/6 per half-year. (b) Where such supply is not measure by meter, such "charge or rate a the Corporation may from time t time make and levy. To repeal clause 250 of said By-law No 1 To amend clause 251, by providing that special permits, shall be issued, to any person entitled under the Plumbers' Registration Act, 1912, to do sanitary plumbing within the Borough. To require a permit to be obtained from the Council before commencing any job, ! and fixing a fee of 1/ for such permit in respect of each job over fl in value, and 2/6 if the job exceeds Co in value. BUILDINGS. Prescribing the form ot application for building permits within the Borough. CEMETERY.
