The congress will meet on March 28, 1918, and it is expected that the business of this gathering, which ha* already aroused considerable interest amid journalistic circles in the Dominion, will cover more than a week. Captain J. W. Niesigh, the official secretary representing the Government interest- in the congress, is visiting NewZealand to place the objects of the gathering before Pressmen here. The Press Congress of the World first gained impetus by the International Press Congress at San Franci3co in July, 1015. There were present then almost 1,000 delegates, including representatives from 20 countries.
