CITY RECRUITING.
FIFTEEN FIT ON SATURDAY. During Saturday afternoon and evening fourteen volunteers, in addition to those published on Saturday evening, were received at the City Recruiting Station, making a total of eighteen men for the day. Altogether fifteen men were passed as medically fit for active service. Folio-wing are the names, occupations, and addresses of the additional men ! accepted: — L. J. Burrow, jeweller, Remuera. W. J. Burrow, cabinetmaker, Remuera. •C. Clark, labourer, Hobson StreetR. M. Don, motor mechanic, Remuera. G. T. Green, baker, Ponsonby. H. T. Jaffrey, salesman, Newmarket. J. R. Johnson, millhand, Grey Lynn. G. Lells, reporter, Ponsonby. D. T. Magee, driver, Pitt Street. C. R. C. Matthews, law student, Jervois Road. A. J. Patterson, dairyman, Remuera. A- Rigg, nurseryman, Birkdale. W. R- Williams, bushman, Waitakere. Reginald C. Harvey, who has been accepted for service, was one of the earlier Devonport enlistments, but on his first application was deferred. He has since been passed as fit, and will leave in the March draft.
