WRECKING WORK ON INTERNED SHIPS.

SERIOUS DAMAGE AND DISAPPEARING CREWS. (Received 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, February 8. It is reported that the North German Lloyd steamer Kronprinzessin Cecilie, of 19,503 tons, which is lying in Boston Harbour, has been deliberately weakened, by the drilling of holes in the frames amidships and filling them in with putty and blacklead. Experts say that the vessel would break in two under moderate strain. It is officially reported that 30 German vessels in American ports are damaged to such an extent that repairs will occupy fully six months. Of 5,500 men composing the crews of these vessels, 4,000 have dnjappeared during the past few days. '
