THE LAURA, A recent letter from Sydney states that the barqne Laura, which was recently refitted, was about to sail for Newcastle to load a cargo of coal for Auckland. Captain USchntze, one of the best known master mariners in the intercolonial trade, is in charge of the vessel. SEXORITA COCMIXG. Captain Whittern, of the barquentine Senorita, left Sydney on the 16th inst., for New-castle and Clarence Town. Simnionds, who arrived in Auckland by the cargo steamer Edward | ■ Luckenbach from New York, has left for South to join the Florence Lnckenbach at Dunedin- It.will be remembered that when this vessel arrived in Auckland recently the officers reported that the wireless operator had disappeared when the steamer was two days out from New York.
