—I. _S_reel Hntin, writing in the ="_c_o de Paris," state? that the Russian offensive on the Sereth. in Moldavia, is important. General Ludendorff calls it an extricating offensive, but the Austrian Marshal] Hofer admits that it is on a great scale.
