Amongst those who returned from "the front" by the Rotorua is Mrs. Arthur de Castro, who has been for the past twelve months in Egypt. After 6he had been in Cairo for six months she moved with the boys to Ismalia, living the whole time on soldiers' rations. Mrs. de Castro worked not only among the New Zealanders, but also the Australians, and of all the boys she speaks in the most high terms. She is working under the Y.M.CA., and has much to say of the good work tbis body has done in Egypt, especially in the direction of cleaning up Cairo. She also hopes that by May next the work will be continued in France. Mrs. de Castro has a charming personality, and is a great favourite with all who ksow her. The too free indulgence In sweets, cakes, etc., soon upsets the stomach. The easiest and simplest corrective is Sharland's Magnesia.—(Ad.)
