LONDON, January 7. An East African-official 'statemenf says: "Wo are pursuing the retreating" enemy in the Rufiji Valley. We "occupied a camp on the Tshogowali- River, and reached Kibimfaaje, on the north..bank of the Rufiji River. The enemjNa , holding the south barrk. The enemy ivas severelr handled in the Mgeta: Valley. We engaged the Germans eastward-of- Mfirißa, the enemy retreating "towards "jManenge."
