FOOD SCARCE IN AUSTRIA.

; Reuters correspondent at Zurich states that the number of vacant shops in Berlin has increased by 217 per cent as compared with December, 1913. The Austrian Government has confiscated the barley and the potato crops. The output of beer has been reduced by 94 per cent.
