■ RETRIAL IX PROGRESS. The retrial of William Thomas Hunt, a farmer, ,of Ruawai, near Dargaville, on a charge of having improper relations ■with a girl under 1(1 years of age (his foster-child), waul continued at the Suprenje Court to-day before his Honor 3lr Justice Hosking. Mr H. H. Ostler appeared for the Crown, and Mr J. R. Reed. X.C.. with Mr AY. A. Black, for the defence. The Jury in the first trial dk-asreod after a hearing lasting nearly three days, and it in possible that the retrial will not he concluded till toniorrcv.
