BULGARIANS OCCUPY SERES.
IRREGULAR BANDS FORMED TO CO-OPERATE WITH INVADERS. ASK THE BRITISH TO LEAVE THEM AXONE. P (Received 11.30 a.m.) SALONIKA, August 29. it is reported that the Greeks have withdrawn from Seres, on the SalonikaDedeagatch railway, 40 miles north-east of Salonika, and the Bulgars have occupied the town. ' Bulgar residents welcomed the comitadjis (irregulars), who are forming bands to co-operate with the Bulgars. After the failure of three violent attacks made on Sunday on the BanitzaOstrovo Road, the Bulgars were content with desultory artillery firing. The Serbians maintain their positions, and there is no change in the Struma situation. English patrols are in the habit of leaving newspapers for the Bulgars, who have left the following message: "We do not fight you. Leave us alone. We will not molest you." ——————_ N - NO DEVELOPMENTS ON BRITISH FRONT. (Received 1.10 p.m.) LONDON, August 29. It is officially stated that there are no developments on the British fronts along the Struma and at Doiran.
