RECRUITING.
SHORTAGES IN NINETEENTHS. IS MEN REQUIRED. Advice has been received -Tat there was | a shortage in the Auckland Military District's quota for the Nineteenth Reinforce- fments, which left for camp on Tuesday | last, of 18 men, including 14 infantry. 3 I mounted rifles, and 1 artilleryman. The required number will he dispatched to camp hy the 8.50 p.m. express on Tuesday next, the mounted rifles and artillery proceeding to Feathcrston and the infantry to Trentham. By the same train a party of ten permanent medical orderlies '' for service at Awapuni camp will also j go South.
